These 4 x 8 inch open end static shielding bags are built from 2.8 mil multi-layer metalized film that dissipates electrostatic charge and creates a Faraday cage effect, protecting sensitive electronic components from static generated during handling, packaging, and transit.
The open end configuration supports fast loading on high-volume packaging lines, and each bag heat seals on standard impulse sealers. An ESD warning symbol is printed directly on the surface of every bag to reinforce proper handling protocols at the point of use — useful wherever ESD compliance procedures are in place.
Typical applications include packaging PCBs, memory modules, hard drives, sensors, and other electrostatic-sensitive assemblies in electronics manufacturing, contract packaging, and distribution. Sold in cases of 1,000 bags and ships via parcel carrier.
