These 10 x 18 inch open end static shielding bags are built from 2.8 mil multi-layer film that creates a Faraday cage-style barrier, dissipating electrostatic charge and protecting sensitive electronics from static discharge events during storage, handling, and transit. An ESD warning symbol is printed directly on each bag to communicate proper handling requirements throughout the supply chain.
Electronics manufacturers, contract assemblers, and fulfillment operations use these bags to package circuit boards, semiconductors, memory modules, hard drives, and other ESD-sensitive components. The open end configuration supports fast loading on high-throughput packaging lines, and the heat sealable closure provides a secure, tamper-evident seal when required. The transparent film allows visual identification of contents without opening the bag.
